On Monday, acting Attorney General Matthew Whitaker made it known that Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s investigation into possible collusion between Donald Trump’s campaign and Russia in the 2016 presidential election is finally coming to an end.
After several months of investigation, no evidence has been found to successfully prove Trump colluded with Russia and as such, Democrats are trying to find alternative ways to make things unbearable for the President.

On Thursday, Democrats announced they will be launching an investigation into Trump’s tax returns. A decision which was made during a hearing of the Ways and Means oversight subcommittee.
According to The Gateway Pundit:
“A hearing of a Ways and Means oversight subcommittee on Thursday was meant to begin building a legal case that Trump withholding his tax returns was potential violations of federal tax laws. The Democrats argued in the hearing that they have legal authority to invoke an obscure provision in the federal code that allows the Chairman of the committee to access private tax information”
The Democrats are having a difficult time accepting the failure of Mueller’s WITCH-HUNT and the possibility that Trump is innocent of all charges. So they have decided to launch another wild goose investigation, this time into Trump’s tax returns. Trump has denied all previous allegations concerning Russia-Collusion and at his second SOTU address, he delivered a fresh warning to Democrats saying “the continuous ridiculous partisan investigations would imperil peace and economic growth.”
