Nick Cannon Backs Up Kevin Hart, Calls Out Comedians For Old Homophobic Tweets

Nick Cannon defended his good friend by calling out others in the comedy business who have Tweeted negative things about the LGBT community over the years.

Hart, of course, has garnered a great deal of backlash over the past week or so after old Tweets and jokes surfaced, many of which were blatantly homophobic.

After Hart refused to apologize for these so-called jokes, explaining that he had already addressed them numerous times in the past, he stepped down as emcee of February’s Academy Awards.

Taking to Twitter, the 38 year old — Cannon wrote, “Interesting. I wonder if there was any backlash here…,” as he shared old tweets from Chelsea Handler, Sarah Silverman, and Amy Schumer in which they use the words “fag” and “faggot”.

Cannon tweeted, “I don’t play that poitically correct bull****! F*** politics!! Only Truth!”

Cannon went on to share a 2012 tweet from Any Schumer, in which the female comedian wrote, “Enjoy skyfall fags. I’m bout to get knee deep in Helen Hunt #thesessions.”

“I’m just saying… should we keep going???” the former America’s Got Talent host captioned his message.

Cannon also brought up a Tweet Sarah Silverman wrote years ago in which she wrote:
