Triggered Nancy Pelosi Angrily Storms Off a Press conference
Speaker of the Democratic House Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) snapped during a press on Thursday when a reporter’s question about the impeachment of President Donald Trump seemed to push her over the edge.
After ranting about Republican Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell, Pelosi seemed to have to bite her own tongue as she threw a temper tantrum and stormed off stage.
After the House Judiciary Committee endorsed regulations for its inquiry into President Trump, the speaker ripped into journalists who peppered her with issues about impeachment.
“I’m not answering any more questions on investigations,” Pelosi told reporters, after saying she supported the committee’s work, during her weekly press conference”
“I’m not answering any more questions on this subject,” she snapped as the questions kept coming.
The frustration of Pelosi resulted her to walk away from the podium, cutting off her press conference shortly after calling on the media to concentrate on the inability of the Senate GOP to accept a Democratic suggestion to introduce background checks on purchases of guns.
“Why is it that you are hung up with a word over here when lives are at stake over there?” the California Democrat said, walking out of the room.
