Earlier, a judge in Chicago unsealed all court records relating to Jussie Smollett’s anti-Trump Scandal after media organizations asked that documents related to the “Empire” actor’s arrest be made public.
The decision to unseal the documents came after the Cook County State’s Attorney’s Office dropped all charges against Smollett, who had been accused of staging a hate crime attack targeted at President Trump in the city’s downtown back in January.

Chicago’s top prosecutor Kim Foxx offered new public explanation in a statement on why she recused herself from the investigation claiming it was due to false rumours arising that she was related to Smollett.

BILLBOARD – Smollett faced 16 felony counts related to making a false report that he was assaulted by two men early on Jan. 29. Foxx’s office dropped the charges on March 26 without any admission of guilt by Smollett, prompting a hail of criticism.
